Blog 16 - A Mother’s Words

As we roll around to Mother’s Day, it makes me think back about all the advice my own mother gave me. Sometimes advice was in her words, in her actions or the way she lived her life. I have learned over the years that I won’t ever have the perfect advice, or say the right things at the right time, but being there, sharing my experiences, or just listening is sometimes the most meaningful.

Blog 13 - Good Intentions Don’t Always Translate to Good Outcomes

The past year I have really been evaluating my life. I am the epitome of the person with good intentions who feels like they just do not do what they intend to do. The quote by Trishna Damodar “A good intention requires the support of a good action in order to translate into a positive outcome! This is so me this past year or more. Maybe even longer. Blog 9 - Don’t Put Off Until Tomorrow…

Each of us at some point has delayed what we really want to do, putting it off until “tomorrow”. The reason behind this delay may be for valid reasons such as job constraints, raising kids, financial limitations, or just the fear of the unknown.

We all know a person who, no matter where they go, they run into someone they know. Someone who is genuinely happy to see them. I am not one of those people.

Blog 7 - God is Good

My oldest daughter was 4 when she became very ill. It took days to get a diagnosis, by then she was in the hospital and wasn’t showing signs of improvement. We were living in Germany at the time, so my family wasn't around for support. I was completely lost.
